Jax Perrin founded Hero Productions in Darwin during the pandemic, turning a lifelong passion for photography and video into a production company with purpose.
From those early days in the Top End to today on the Gold Coast, Jax has led projects with public health, education and community organisations nationwide. Her focus has always been the same: creating videos that earn trust, win funding and help important work reach the people it’s meant for.
Together with co-founder Jesse Ocean, she has built Hero Productions into a trusted partner for organisations that need clarity, creativity and results.
The Hero journey
Hero Productions started in Darwin and grew to the Gold Coast, working with organisations across Australia to capture the work they do on the ground.
Over the years, we’ve produced videos for public health, education and community teams — projects designed to help secure funding, build trust and engage the people they serve.
The name Hero comes from our belief that every organisation has work worth recognising. Our role is to put that work on screen, so your team becomes the hero of the story.
