Breast Cancer Network Australia engaged Hero Productions to capture member interviews at their 2023 national conference in Darwin. The brief was straightforward: speak to members about what the network had meant to them during their breast cancer journey, and let them say it in their own words.


Three interviews were recorded, ranging from one to five and a half minutes. Members spoke about accessing resources, finding community, and what it meant to be surrounded by people who understood what they were going through. One of the Aboriginal Liaison Officers working alongside BCNA and the Allan Walker Cancer Centre in Darwin was also interviewed, speaking to her experiences and how she assists Aboriginal members of the network. All interviews are published on BCNA's YouTube channel.


Hero Productions managed the interviews alongside a full two-day conference program, working around a busy schedule to capture each conversation properly.
